Tiger kills honey collector in Sundarbans

A honey collector was killed in an attack by a tiger in Sundarbans at Kalabogi in Dakop upazila yesterday.
The dead was identified as Mozaffar Tarafder, 29, son of Johar Tarafder of the same village.
Local forest officials and locals said a tiger suddenly attacked him and dragged him into the deep forest of Sundarbans when he along with 5/6 others were collecting honey at Kalabogi Dewanir Char at about 8:00am.
Locals with the help of the forest officials later recovered his body that bore injury marks.
