2 Sramik League leaders expelled in Dinajpur
Two leaders of district Jatiya Sramik League were expelled from party yesterday for their alleged connection with local Jamaat leaders.
The expelled leaders are Abu Masum Md. Badrul Motin and Md. Ulfat Hossain, labour welfare secretary and assistant secretary of Dinajpur unit Jatiya Sramik League, according to a press release issued here yesterday afternoon.
Md. Alauddin, general secretary of Dinajpur Sramik League in the press release said that the two leaders were expelled for their alleged link with some local Jamaat leaders and anti-party activities.
However, the expelled leaders denied the allegation and alleged that they have been expelled without any prior notice.
On the other hand, Md. Alauddin said the two leaders had been encouraging the local Jamaat leaders to launch different programmes to secure release the recently arrested four top Jamaat-e-Islami leaders.
