BCSIR okays 6 arsenic removal technologies
Six Arsenic Removal Technologies have been approved for sale in the country by the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) for the first time to help ensure pure drinking water for the people, says a press release.
The technologies are Sono45-25, Nelima and Shawdesh of Bangladesh and MAGC/ALCAN, Road-F house unit and Sidko of Canada, Japan and Germany respectively.
The Shawdesh was developed by the BCSIR.
The technologies will create opportunity for the people to buy government certified arsenic filters at lower costs.
