Delwar, two other BNP leaders sued
A former Bogra BCL leader filed a case yesterday accusing three central leaders of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) for giving death threat to the prime minister.
The accused are BNP Secretary General Khandoker Delwar Hossain, Standing Committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia and Vice Chairman Shah Moazzem Hossain.
Tarajul Islam, former vice-president of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Bogra, filed the case with chief judicial magistrate court of Bogra following the death threat by the BNP leaders at Muktangon in Dhaka on July 25.
Tarajul in his complaint said the accused threatened Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with the same fate her father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman suffered.
