Auto-bike

A new kind of tiny vehicle called 'Auto-bike' is seen plying on the roads in many regions of our country. This bike can carry six passengers at a time and it is totally harmless to the environment as it does not need any liquid fuel. It needs only electricity for charging its batteries.
A single unit of this bike costs Tk one lakh only. So, a middle income family can buy it and earn something from it. A large number of drivers can live on plying these bikes. I do not recommend giving the permission for running bikes on the main roads of this capital Dhaka due to traffic congestion. But where rickshaws are permitted to move in Dhaka, the bikes should be given permission. There should not be any restriction on running it in other regions of the country.
This kind of environment friendly vehicles should get proper patronage from the government along with other authorities concerned.
