New Vision emerge champions
New Vision Badminton Academy of Malaysia became champions in Kawasaki Knit Concern-New Vision Badminton tournament as they won both the singles and doubles crown in all-Malaysian finals in Narayanganj yesterday.
Malaysian star and former Australian Open Badminton champion Yogendran Krishnan took both singles and doubles titles beating his compatriots in the finals.
Krishnan lifted the singles crown beating Loke Kok Pong and shared the doubles crown with Cheng Gann defeating Loke Kok Pong and Woon Kog Hong pair.
Bangladesh Badminton Federation's vice president M Nurul Haque distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest of the closing ceremony.
Sales Manager of Kawasaki Malaysia Tang C Lieong was the special guest of the ceremony which was chaired by Managing Director of meet's sponsor Knit Concern Group of Industries Joynal Abedin Mollah.
Knit Concern Badminton Club of Narayanganj and New Vision Badminton Academy Team of Malaysia will meet each other on home and away basis each year to improve their standard of badminton.
