Bangladesh 2nd in Saarc carom

Bangladesh became runners-up in the men's team event of the 14th Saarc Carom Championship held in Colombo last week.
India were the eventual winners.
The team was made up of Hafizur Rahman, Humayun Kabir and Mohamma Ali. The other players in the contingent were Shamsun Nahar and Farzana Akhtar while Md Azizul Haq accompanied the team as manager.
Janata Bank and Agrani Bank provided financial support for participation in the tournament.
