An apprentice cadet of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) fell in the sea from a ship yesterday at the outer anchorage of Chittagong port.
The cadet was identified as Shubhankar Bhattacharjee, 22, missing since he fell in the sea at around 9:30am.
Cadet Shubhankar went to the “Bravo” point to join his service after enjoying a three-day leave. But, suddenly he fell into the rough sea when climbing up the ladder of the vessel from a boat.
