Ctg sweater factory gutted

A fire injured 15 people and damaged goods worth around Tk 1 crore in a sweater factory at city's Bayezid Bostami area on Friday.
Sources said the fire broke at Golden Horizon Limited, a sweater factory owned by Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh Secretary General Abdul Mannan, around 7:30pm.
The fire gutted sweaters and machineries on the first floor of the seven-storey building before being extinguished at around 10:00pm, said Fire Service and Civil Defence Deputy Director (DD) Ruhul Amin,Chittagong Headquarters.
