Programme marking Rath Jatra concludes

A nine- day programme marking the Hindu festival of Rath Jatra, concluded on July 21.
The programme, organised by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Mymensingh unit included discussions, recitation, Padabali Kirtan, cultural programmes and more.
A painting competition was held at local Bipin Park on July 16 with the participation of over 100 children from different educational institutions.
Cultural functions including choral and solo renditions, as well as lively dance sequences based on the Rath Jatra festival. Baishali Geeti Nattya from India and Jagrata Chhatra Samaj, ISKCON, Dhaka also gave performances, while a fair was held at the temple premises.
