Football Festival starts

In a bid to inspire school footballers as well as to cash in on the craze created by the just concluded FIFA World Cup, the BFF-Daewoo Football Festival got underway in the capital yesterday.
On the first day, the Bangladesh Football Federation Eleven comprising former footballers like Sheikh Mohammad Aslam, Sayeed Hasan Kanon, Hasanuzzaman Khan Bablu, Nakib, Roxy and current national players like Zahid Hasan Emily and Aminul Haque played against a BAF Shaheen School and College Team where the former won it 3-1.
The BFF Eleven will play their next matches against Willes Little Flower School Squad on July 20, Motijheel Govt. High School Squad on July 22, Khilgaon High School Squad on July 25 and Residential Model High School Squad on July 27.
