Mokbula Monjur wins Anannya Literary Award

Litterateur Mokbula Monjur has been awarded Anannya Literary Award 1414 in recognition of her contribution to Bangla literature.
Prof Anisuzzaman gave away the award to the winner at a ceremony at Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum in the city yesterday.
The award carries a crest and Tk 50,000.
Anannya, a fortnightly magazine for women, has been giving the award 'Anannya Sahitya Puroskar' to women litterateurs for the last 14 years.
Presided over by litterateur Selina Hossain, the award giving ceremony was addressed by Prof Niaz Zaman, writer and publisher Mofidul Haq and Executive Editor of the Anannya Dil Monowara Monu.
