Miscreants kill truck driver

A gang of miscreants killed the driver after hijacking a wheat-laden truck from Hatikumrul area under Sirajganj district on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Mokhles Uddin, 45. The helper of the truck identified as Anwar Hossain, 24, was also injured in the incident.
Police said six miscreants get on the wheat-laden truck in Hatikumrul area in the guise of passengers while it was going to Bogra from Chittagong.
The criminals tied the driver and helper of the truck and throw them from the truck onto the road at Shahjahanpur in Bogra, leaving the driver dead.
Later, police recovered the truck from Singra area in Natore. None was arrested in this connection.
