EXIM BANK
The CRISL has rated the bank as "AA-" in the long term and "ST-2" in the short term based on financial statements up to December 2009 and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to date of rating declaration.
STANDARD INSURANCE
The insurer's 10th AGM will now be held on June 28 instead of June 27. Other information of the meeting will remain the same as announced earlier.
SINOBANGLA INDUSTRIES
The company asked shareholders to collect their dividend warrants for 2008-09 by Monday (10am to 3pm) (all workdays) from Noor Tower in Dhaka.
FIRST SECURITY ISLAMI BANK
Trading of the bank's shares will be allowed only on the spot market and block/odd lot transactions will also be settled as per spot settlement cycle with cum benefit from today to June 15. Trading will remain suspended on June 16, the record date for AGM and EGM. Another record date for entitlement of the proposed rights share will be notified after obtaining approval from SEC.
AFTAB AUTOMOBILES
The company said as per terms and condition of preference shares issue, 1.80 crore such shares of Tk 100 each, allotted earlier to the subscribers of preference shareholders against subscriptions, are converted into over 1.13 crore ordinary shares of Tk 10 each of the company at Tk 158.46 after 35 percent discount on Tk 243.78 being the weighted average price of DSE during the four months effective from February 1 to May 30. The aforesaid converted ordinary shares are expected to credit today to the respective BO account numbers of preference shareholders, which will be under lock in for one year effective from January 31.
