Contribution of 3 journalists recalled

Speakers at a memorial meeting yesterday recalled the contribution of three journalists to journalism.
Dhaka Sub-Editors' Council (DSEC) organised the meeting in memory of journalists Mohammad Ashraf Ali, Jahirul Ahsan Tipu and Suleri Zaman at it's Segun Bagicha office in the city yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, they also called upon the authorities concerned to provide financial assistance to the family members of the late journalists to help maintain their families.
DSEC President Mukul Talukder, Vice President Jahangir Hakim, former DSEC presidents Mutasim Billah, Humayun Sadik Chowdhury and Mir Mustafiz Ahmad and former general secretary Sahana Sheuly spoke at the meeting with DSEC General Secretary Sumon Islam in the chair.
