Girl raped in Chuadanga

A five-year-old girl was raped at Aliarpur village in Sadar upazila in Chuadanga on Wednesday afternoon.
Police arrested the alleged underage rapist.
According to police, one Shamim, 14, son of Ramzan Ali of the village called the girl to his room when she was playing at nearby place at about 5:30 pm and violated her.
Hearing the girl's scream, family members rushed to the spot and rescued the girl. The girl was taken to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
Jibon Mollah, grandfather of the girl filed a case against Shamim with Sadar police station.
