Expectant mother found dead

An expectant mother was found dead in a cane field at Belpukur under Puthia upazila yesterday.
On information, police recovered the body of the woman from the cane field of one Aynal of the village and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Approximately in her 30s, the women could not be identified immediately, said Abdul Hamid, officer-in-charge of Puthia Police Station.
She was expecting a child and might have been strangled, he added.
The bright and four-foot tall woman was in Baishakhi attire and a big wart over her right eye, said Hamid, quoting the inquest report.
