Four deer poachers jailed

A court here on Monday sentenced four deer poachers to rigorous imprisonment. Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Mahruf Hossain also fined the convicts Tk 10,000 each, in default, they are to suffer six more months in jail. The convicts are Sripada Sardar, Shahidul Sheikh, Masum Gazi and Lakkhon Sardar. Police arrested the four in Koira upazila while they were slaughtering two spotted deer in February this year.
