FEDERAL INSURANCE
The insurer's Board of Directors recommended 12 percent stock dividend for 2009. The company's annual general meeting will be held on June 17 (at 11:30am) at BIAM Auditorium in Dhaka. The record date is April 28. The company has reported earnings per share of Tk 12.95, net asset value per share of Tk 154.60 and net operating cash flow per share of Tk 34.02 as of December 31, 2009.

ACI LTD
A meeting of the company's Board of Directors will be held on April 20 (at 5pm) to consider, among others, audited financial statements of the company as of December 31, 2009.

The company informed that it credited the stock dividend for 2009 to the respective shareholders' beneficiary owner (BO) accounts.

The bank informed that it credited the stock dividend for 2009 to the respective shareholders' beneficiary owner (BO) accounts on April 12.

KHULNA POWER COMPANY
As per decision of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), normal trading of the shares of Khulna Power Company Ltd will start on DSE on April 18 under 'N' category. Face value is Tk 10.00 each, the market lot is 100 shares and opening price will be Tk 194.25

PHOENIX FINANCE AND INVESTMENTS
Normal trading of the company's shares resumes on April 15 after record date. The next record date for the entitlement of proposed rights share will be notified later after obtaining approval.

ASIA INSURANCE
Trading of the company's shares will be allowed only on the spot market and block/odd lot transactions will also be settled as per spot settlement cycle from April 15 to April 19. Trading of the shares will remain suspended on the record date April 20 for the company's annual general meeting and extraordinary general meeting. The next record date for the entitlement of proposed rights share will be notified later after obtaining approval.

LAFARGE SURMA CEMENT
The company has said the matter related to mining and other issues came up for hearing before the Supreme Court of India on April 12. The court has fixed the next date of hearing for April 26.
