Listed criminal found dead

A listed criminal was found dead in Gulshan Lake at Badda in the city early yesterday.
The dead was identified as Faruq Hossain, 22, of Link Road in Madhya Badda.
Badda police station officer-in-charge Kazi Wazed Ali said Faruk was wanted in different cases.
"He might have been killed by members of his gang following an internal feud," Wazed said, adding, "His accomplices Hira, Siraj and some others might have been involved in the killing."
Talking to The Daily Star, Faruq's elder brother Billal Hossain admitted the criminal links of his brother, saying that they had no relations with him and he also did not maintain relationship with them.
