Marking Independence Day, Bangladeshi envoy to Brunei Darussalam Shamim Ahsan arranged the two-day cultural programme, according to a press release.
Hero and Chandni with other members of their group -- Tapon, Bristi, Tushar, Tamim and Punni -- staged dances. Popular musician Bappa Majumdar, his band Dalchhut and singer Dilshad Nahar Kona performed on the occasion.
Health Minister of Brunei Darussalam Haji Osman was the chief guest of the event well attended by diplomats and dignitaries. The programme was held at the International Convention Centre in the capital city Bandar Seri Begawan.
Apart from performances by the renowned artistes, expatriate Bangladeshi performers also rendered patriotic and folk songs with dances on the second day's programme held at Jerudong Park Theatre Hall.
