Refusal to Dalit students' participation condemned

Bangladesh Dalit Forum (BDF) yesterday condemned the refusal to let Dalit students participate in a programme of Bhojgati Govt School in Jessore on March 29.
Forum members alleged that about 70 students of the school were forced to leave a programme that was being held to mark the Independence Day.
Head master of the school Abdul Aziz along with other teachers also misbehaved with the parents of Dalit students when they protested the incident.
The students have boycotted classes protesting the incident.
