Narayanganj became zonal champions of the 30th Inter-District Cricket Championship with a four-wicket victory against Faridpur yesterday.
The winners scored 164 for six in reply to Faridpur's 162 for nine in stipulated 50 overs.
Nilphamari emerged as zonal champions as they beat Rangpur by four wickets. Ashraful hit 62 as Rangpur made 176 all out while Nilphamari rode on Imran's 60 to reach 179 for six.
Mahbubul hit 62 and Mohaminul added 52 as Rajshahi scored 246 for seven to become zonal champions with three-wicket victory over Chapainababganj which made 243 for nine.
Khulna (173-10) moved into the zonal semifinal beating Satkhira (142-10) by 31 runs.
In the day's other match, Brahmanbaria (253-7) beat Chandpur (251-6) by three wickets.

Manikganj Correspondent: Bewtha Bandhu XI managed an exciting one-run win against Sonali Surja Sporting Club in the Khan Real Estate Second Division Cricket League at the Government Boys' High School playground.
Bewtha Bandhu were all out for 152 runs in 22 while Sonali Surja were dismissed for 151 runs in 22.2 overs.
In the day's other match, Dashara Chalachal Club (139) defeated Jagir Union Nabin Sangha (88) by 41 runs.
