Domestic help dies in rooftop fall

A fourteen-year-old domestic help died after falling from the rooftop of a five-storied building at Nurpur in the city's Kadamtali area yesterday.
The victim was identified as Nargis Akhter, daughter of one Halim Sarker of Patuakhali.
Nargis had been working as a domestic help at the residence of Yunus, an employee of a private company who stays on the third floor of the building, for the last five months.
Sub-Inspector Rezaul Karim of Kadamtali Police Station said the victim went to the rooftop of the building at around 11:00am to dry cloths and suddenly fell down from the rooftop.
