Yasmeen Murshed made envoy to Pakistan

Former adviser to a caretaker government and founder of Scholastica school Yasmeen Murshed was appointed High Commissioner to Pakistan yesterday on a two-year contract.
A government handout said the appointment was made on condition that Yasmeen Murshed sever her relations with all institutions and organisations including Scholastica Ltd.
Meanwhile, additional secretary of health and family welfare ministry Jamil Osman was made acting information secretary, said another government announcement.
Kamal Uddin Ahmed, a secretary serving as officer on special duty (OSD) at the establishment ministry, was made executive chairman of the Board of Investment.
