Terry not at fault
Chelsea captain John Terry was not to blame for driving into a club security guard, the wounded official said as the footballer was set to visit him Thursday.
England centre-half Terry was questioned by the police and breathalysed after leaving Chelsea's deputy security manager Steve Rowley with a badly bruised leg as he drove away from the club's Stamford Bridge ground.
"John was quickly in contact with me once he realised what had happened and there's no bad feeling at all on my part," Rowley said in a brief statement through the west London club.
"It wasn't his fault at all, it was a complete accident."
The security chief was taken to hospital.
