Girl hurt in gang attack

A teenage girl was injured in gang attack at West Deobhog in the district town on Tuesday. Victim Bristi, 18, is daughter of Babul Mia of Nagbari area of the town. Family sources said, some unknown criminals intercepted her at gunpoint while she was returning home from a nearby shop in the morning and stabbed her leaving her critically injured. She was rushed to Narayanganj General Hospital. The reason behind the attack could not be known immediately.
