Jose to stay at Inter
Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has no plans to abandon his "project" at the San Siro.
The former Chelsea boss has been linked with a return to the Barclays Premier League, but claims he will not leave Inter before the end of his contract in 2012.
"In England I was happy and when I left I said that I would one day come back," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "What does one day mean? It may mean in 2012 or in 2020.
"The problem is that you (the press) love to change my words, the problem is that I also said I am happy at Inter and I want to respect my contract, which runs until 2012, and instead you preferred to emphasise the idea of my return to England.
"I said that I don't like to leave a project halfway through and in Italy it was written that I will leave in June. I realize that there is a product to sell, maybe I need to resign myself to adapting to this situation."
Mourinho is tipped to bring former Lazio striker Goran Pandev to the San Siro when the transfer window opens.
Pandev is a free agent after winning his legal battle against Lazio to be released from his contract.
The Portuguese added: "Everyone knows that I like him because Pandev can bring a different balance to Inter due to his character, his technical ability and his tactics."
