Juta polls on Dec 30

Election to the executive committee of the Jahangirnagar University Teachers' Association (Juta) will be held December 30.
The voting will be held from 9:00am to 1:30pm at the University club without any break.
About 500 teachers are likely to cast their votes in the election, which is being held after a lapse of four years.
Prof Abul Hossen of Physics Department and Dr Arju Mian will contest as president and general secretary from the AL backed panel.
Dr Mahabub Kabir of Chemistry Department and Dr Khandaker Mohammad Shariful Huda will contest as president and general secretary from the NTF backed panel.
