BTCL declares 10pc dividend

Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Ltd (BTCL) declared 10 percent dividend for its shareholders for the last fiscal year.
The dividends were announced at the first annual general meeting of the company on Monday. Sunil Kanti Bosh, post and telecommunications secretary and chairman of BTCL, presided over meeting.
Eng SM Khabiruzzaman, managing director of the company, was also present. The company earned a net profit of Tk 217 crore (after paying tax) last fiscal year.
