Raowa executives

Capt (retd) Md Mahbubul Matin and Brig Gen (retd) MH Salahuddin have been elected secretary general and senior vice-chairman of the Retired Armed Forces Officers' Welfare Association (Raowa) respectively for a two-year term, says a press release.
The election was held on Saturday.
Other office-bearers are Lt Col (retd) Shafat Ally -- member (development), Sqn Ldr (retd) Md Forkan Alam Khan -- member (games and sports), Maj (retd) Al-Mosaddeque Mahtabur Rahman -- member (entertainment and culture), Lt Col (retd) Kh. Mustafizur Rahman -- member (catering), and Maj (retd) Md Habibur Rahman -- member (beverage).
The election of chairman, vice chairman and six other posts of the association will be held next year. Election to the 50 percent of the posts in the executive committee is held every year.
