Top outlaw killed in Chuadanga
Body of a top outlaw was found on a railway track in Alamganga upazila of Chuadanga district Friday afternoon.
The outlaw was identified as Saiful Islam Saban alias Sabai, 36, son of late Wazi Uddin of Bhangbaria village in Almadanga.
Saban was a regional leader of Lal Pataka, a faction of outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-ML), police said.
Locals located the body of Saban on the railway track at Boaikuli near Bondbil station at about 4:30pm on Friday and informed police.
Police rushed to the spot and sent the body to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The body of Saban, a top listed criminal in Chuadanga, was bisected from waist, police said.
