Int'l medical exhibition begins today

Medexpo-2009, the seventh International Medical Equipment and Healthcare Services Exposition, begins in the city today, says a press release.
Prof Syed Modasser Ali, adviser to the prime minister, will inaugurate the three-day exhibition at the Winter Garden of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel.
Triune Exhibition and Event Management Services (TEEMS) has organised the exhibition supported by Otobi Ltd., who has been playing host as the premium partner of Medexpo since its inception.
More than 40 participants from seven countries, including host Bangladesh, will showcase their products and services in the exhibition. The other countries are India, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Germany and Japan.
Attractive discounts will be offered by the participants on their products and services during the fair. Moreover, some organisations will offer instant free health check-up and medical consultation services to the visitors.
Otobi will also launch few medical furniture items during Medexpo-2009.
The exhibition will remain open from 10:00am to 8:00pm everyday and there will be no entry fee.
