EU MPs due on Nov 17 to observe situation

A three-member team of EU parliamentarians arrives in Dhaka on November 17 to see the developments in Bangladesh, which was reflected in the recent resolution adopted by the European Parliament.
During their three-day visit, the team members are expected to call on the chief adviser, foreign affairs adviser and will attend a roundtable with the civil society.
They will also meet the chief election commissioner (CEC), chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and the chief of army staff.
The members of the delegation are Robert Evans, group of the Party of European Socialists of United Kingdom, Jaromír Kohlicek, Confederal Group of the European United Left - Nordic Green Left of the Czech Republic, and Ms Mariela Velichkova Baeva, Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, Bulgaria.
