Brac Bank to provide $38252 to ICDDR,B

Brac Bank will provide $38252 to ICDDR,B as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in the city on Sunday.
The money equivalent to Tk 23,39,388 will be utilised for the renovation of a temporary shed of ICDDR,B that was thronged with patients of diarrhoeal diseases soon after the recession of flood waters this year.
Brac Bank has also developed a co-branded credit card from which a percentage of revenue will be contributed to Hospital Endowment Fund for its continued sustenance.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at Sasakawa Auditorium of ICDDR,B where Secretary to health and family welfare ministry AKM Zafar Ullah Khan was present as chief guest.
ICDDR,B Executive Director Dr Alejandro Cravioto and Managing Director of Brac Bank Limited Imran Rahman signed the MoU on behalf of their organisations.
