Admission test for all the 38 private medical colleges will be held on November 20.
This is for the first time the admission test in the private medical colleges will be held centrally.
"This unified medical examination system for all the private medical colleges will prevent corruption in admission test in private medical colleges," said Directorate General of Health Services Director Khondoker Shefayetullah.
Under the system students need not to buy admission forms from different private medical colleges. Rather they could sit for medical admission test by taking one form at Tk 800, he added.
The examination will be held from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Some 7,510 students will compete against 3,065 seats at the exam.
Principals of government medical colleges in Chittagong, Sylhet, Rangpur and Comilla will coordinate the admission test.
The centers would be Chittagong, Sylhet, Rangpur and Comilla Medical College Hospital auditoriums.
In other districts, the examination will be held on the private medical college campuses and professors, directors and principals of the public medical colleges will be present as the external invigilator.
The result will be published within two to three days.
