President returns home

President Zillur Rahman returned home last night after attending the COMCEC Economic Summit under the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Turkey.
“An Emirates flight carrying the President landed at the Zia International Airport at 8:52pm,” Abul Kalam Azad, deputy press secretary to the president, told UNB over phone.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury, Dean of Diplomatic Corps Swedish Ambassador Britt Falkman Hagostrom, Turkish Ambassador Sakir Ozkan Torunlar, cabinet secretary and chief of Naval Staff received the president at the airport.
