NCC BANK
Fakhrul Anwar, one of the sponsors/directors of the bank, has further reported that he completed sales of 30,000 shares in the bank at prevailing market prices through Dhaka Stock Exchange.
SOUTHEAST BANK
Jusna Ara Kashem, one of the sponsors of the bank, has further reported that she completed sales of 1,00,000 shares of the bank at prevailing market prices through Dhaka Stock Exchange.
GREEN DELTA
The company said the Board of Directors increased the fund size of the proposed "Green Delta Mutual Fund" from Tk 100 crore to Tk 150 crore.
POWERGRID
The Board of Directors has recommended cash dividends at 27 percent for the year 2008-2009. The annual general meeting will be held on January 24, 2010 at 11am at Bashundhara Convention Centre in Baridhara, Dhaka. The company has also reported net asset value of Tk 14,210.15 million, earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 42.39 and net operating cash flow per share of Tk 104.76 for the year to June 30, 2009.
BD PLANT
As per audited accounts as on May 30, 2009, the company has reported net profit of Tk 0.23 million with EPS of Tk 22.57 against Tk 0.27 million and Tk 27.13 respectively as on May 30, 2008. An accumulated loss of the company was Tk (10.48) million as on May 30, 2009.
MUTUAL TRUST BANK
East West Property Development (Pvt) Ltd, one of the corporate sponsors of the bank, has reported its intention to sell 1,00,000 shares out of its total holdings of 5,38,772 shares in the bank at prevailing market prices through Dhaka Stock Exchange in 30 workdays.
NATIONAL TUBES
The Board of Directors has recommended cash dividend at 30 percent and stock dividend at 10 percent for the year 2008-2009. The annual general meeting has been set for December 26: Time: 11am, Venue: Factory premises in Tongi. The company has reported net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk 348.03, earnings per share of Tk 78.87 and net operating cash flow per share of Tk 70.97 for the year to June 30, 2009.
MEGHNA PET
Trading of the company's shares will be allowed only on the spot market and block/odd lot transactions will also be settled as per spot settlement cycle from November 8 to November 17. Trading of the company's shares will remain suspended on November 18, as book closure starts on November 19.
