Info, consultation service ends at Savar
A two-day information and consultation service programme to make people aware of different important issues ended at Savar yesterday.
Youth Engagement and Support (YES), an associate organisation of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), and Sachetan Nagorik Samaj (Sanak) jointly organised the programme by setting up a mobile information desk at the entrance of Savar Upazila Health Complex, says a press release.
Dr Abul Hasnat, director (Dhaka division) of Directorate of Health Service, and Dr Shafiuddin Sarkar, Savar upazila health and family planning officer, visited the mobile information desk.
The YES members provided over hundred people with information about the hospital's free services, how to get passport, process to sale and buy lands, free health and education services, process to file a general diary (GD), land registration and mutation process, recover the land from encroachers, how to apply for credit or loan from bank or NGO and marriage, divorce and labour law related information.
