Woman, daughter electrocuted

A woman and her daughter were electrocuted in Ramnagar area of the district town Friday night. The victims were identified as Mariam Begum and Tania. Locals said, 7-year-old Tania came in contact with the iron grills of their house which were electrified from short circuit at about 8:30pm. Mariam was also electrocuted as she tried to save her daughter.
