CPB reiterates demand for trial of war criminals
Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) has reiterated its demand for state initiative to formulate a special tribunal to try the anti-liberation forces and war criminals of 1971.
The demand came at a meeting of pro-CPB lawyers in the city yesterday.
Chaired by Advocate Abdul Kuddus, the meeting was addressed by CPB President Monjurul Ahsan Khan, General Secretary Mujahidul Islam Selim and a number of lawyers, says a press release.
They also demanded a ban on communal and fundamental politics and reinstatement of 1972 Constitution.
