NBR files cases against 92 govt employees
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) yesterday filed six cases against 92 government employees on charges of securing government jobs using forged documents.
Golam Rahman, second secretary of NBR, filed the cases with Ramna Police Station. He alleged that the employees got their jobs by submitting fake educational and other certificates.
According to the complaint, the employees also submitted forged documents showing that they were employees of Mujibnagar Government in 1971, police said.
A committee of the NBR found out the forgery during a scrutiny of the certificates.
