MIST 9th council meet held in city

The 9th meeting of the council of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) was held at the Mirpur Cantonment in the city yesterday.
Chaired by Education Adviser Ayub Quadri, the meeting discussed the annual budget 2007-2008 of MIST, employment policy of civil teachers/officers, MoUs between different national/international universities and MIST, increased number of student admission in MIST, and higher education policy of teachers and civil staff officers.
Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal SM Ziaur Rahman and Lt. Gen. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury representing the Army Chief were present in the meeting.
