3 Pirojpur arrestees remanded

Three people, arrested on September 29 in connection with trading CDs containing video footage of the rape of a schoolgirl by a BCL leader in Pirojpur town, were placed on a two-day remand yesterday.
Sub-Inspector Azim Howladar, also the investigation officer (IO) of the case, produced the three in the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court, seeking a five-day remand.
Suman Talukdar, owner of Soukhin Audio-Video Corner, Shahin Howladar, apprentice worker of Digital Mobile Servicing Centre and Faisal Gazi, buyer of the porno CD, were arrested following a case filed by the law enforcers against five people on September 28 on charges of recording the scene and trading on the pornography.
