<i>Britter Baire to go to Oscar from Bangladesh </i>

Oscar Bangladesh Committee has selected the film titled 'Britter Baire' for 82nd Academy Awards (Oscar) Competition under the best foreign language film category.
This was announced by Bangladesh Federation of Film Societies (BFFS) at a press briefing at La Vinci Hotel in the capital.
This is the fifth consecutive time that Bangladesh is sending a film for the competition.
'Britter Baire', directed by Golam Rabbani Biplab and produced by Impress Telefilm, has been selected through a competition.
'Britter Baire' was the only film that participated in the competition and was selected for Oscar competition unanimously.
BFFS President Habibur Rahman Khan, General Secretary M Shariful Islam, Film Director Biplab and Impress Telefilm Limited Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar were present at the briefing.
