Shuvo restricts MCA U-22s

A superb five-for from left-arm spinner Suhrawardi Shuvo helped visiting Bangladesh A cricket team dominate hosts Maharashtra Cricket Association Under-22 on the first day of the three-day warm-up match in Nasik, India yesterday.
After being put in to bat, Maharashtra were caught in the spin web of Shuvo and skittled out for 215.
Shuvo gave away 46 runs bowling 25 overs while pacer Talha Jubair chipped in with two wickets for 50 to restrict the local side to the modest total.
Viral Sha was the most successful batsman with an exact 50, followed by Kaustauvh Patel's 43 that eventually took Maharashtra beyond the 200-mark.
The visitors, however, lost both openers Imrul Kayes (13) and Nafis Iqbal (9) before the bails were drawn for the first day.
Imran Ahmed and Hannan Sarkar resume the innings on 29-2 from 10 overs today.
