'Govt working to establish non-communal country'

Social Welfare Minister Enamul Haq Mostafa Shahid yesterday said the present government is working to materialise the dream of Bangabandhu to establish Bangladesh as a non-communal country.
Now an environment is being created in the country where the followers of all religions can live in harmony, he said while visiting different Puja mandaps at Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj.
During the visit, he gave away donations from government funds to the Puja mandaps.
The minister first visited the Puja mandap at Durgapur and then went to Baksai, Nayapara, Boikuntha, Jagadishpur, Teliapara, Surma Puja Mandir and Surma Tea Garden Puja Mandap.
