Dr Noor made asst representative of UNFPA

Dr Noor Mohammad has been appointed as the new assistant representative of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on Wednesday, says a press release.
Prior to his new assignment, Dr Noor had been working as the national programme officer for Youth and Education.
He has been with UNFPA Bangladesh office since April 2001, initially as a programme manager (Youth and Adolescent RH) for a UNF-funded project under service contract. Later, he moved to the post of national programme officer as a fixed term employee from May 2004.
