ID card project

I may like to give thanks to Major Md. Delwar Hossain (rtd), who has just written a few words and expressed his views on implementing the National ID card project.
I fully agree with him that it may be another moneymaking project for some quarters at the end, and no output will eventually come through it. Is ID card the most important thing for the nation at the moment or have we achieved all other national goals by now?
