A non-political association for all categories of bank officers was formed at a meeting at a local hotel in Dhaka recently.
Kazi Md Shafiqur Rahman, former managing director of Mutual Trust Bank,
will serve as convenor of the Bankers' Welfare Association, and Md Ahsan Habib, senior vice president of Trust Bank, will serve as member secretary,
the association said
in a statement yesterday.
A 23-member committee was also formed for the association, according to the statement.a
